Start from a note, not a syllabus
The Exam Room builds questions from the note you open it in - a summarized lecture, a scanned chapter, a transcript - so the test covers what you were taught rather than a generic topic list. Pick the note that matches the exam's scope.
Generate the test
From the note's tools choose Exam Room, then Quiz. You get multiple-choice and true/false questions drawn from the note's definitions, facts and arguments, with the answer keyed to the source line.
- Multiple choice with plausible wrong answers
- True/false for the claims that are easy to misremember
- Graded the moment you finish
Use the score, not the feeling
The score is tracked across attempts. Below 70% on a note, go back to the summary and the flashcards for that topic; above 90% twice, move on. The point of the test is to decide where the next hour goes.
Rebuild it closer to the exam
Generate the test again a week later - the questions are drawn fresh, so a second run is not a memory of the first. Do it on the phone on the way in.
